Skunk Fu! hits the web!

May 20, 2009

Over the last number of months, we had the awesome opportunity to work with one of the biggest cartoons to hit television…

Skunk Fu

The Mission /

Skunk-Fu! is a wildly popular cartoon which airs in numerous countries around the globe. Our mission; design and develop an entertaining and engaging website that would appeal to the show’s younger demographic. The site needed to bring interactivity and the TV shows personality into the online environment where kids could continue to have fun and share in the Skunk Fu experience.

The Method /

Luckily, Artistech’s staff are self-proclaimed cartoon experts. We utilized the large library of assets from the show to create an immersive environment fans would recognize and enjoy. The project was a multinational collaboration with involvement with firms from around the world. This included creative minds from Germany, Ireland, France, and Canada (Artistech).

The Result /

Upon entering the site, you are welcomed with all the same sights, sounds, and fun that fans are used to from the television show. Using Flash as the primary development environment, the site stylishly introduces users to the show’s heroes and villains, their personalities and the show’s environment. Users are provided the opportunity to play games, download MP3 Ringtones, watch video footage from the series and much more. The overall experience is so enjoyable, even the evil ‘Dragon’ would like it.

Wow I think you guys did a great job! What is the kids response like? I played for 20 minutes! I have a dentist that may be looking to implement games on his website… If the kids like this as much as I did we should talk about including a link??

  3. Great job guys!!!!

  4. [...] in the above example (Our May Newsletter about Skunk-Fu) had an open rate of about 41%.  Not bad.  Compare that to other traditional marketing efforts [...]
